SCL Nigeria welcomes new members and invites anyone who is interested and professionally involved in construction law to apply for membership.
Our current members come from all sectors of the construction industry and include lawyers, architects, engineers, quantity surveyors.
There are many benefits of membership, including:
- Access to regular meetings which provide networking opportunities with other professionals within the construction industry. See our Upcoming Events page for details of the latest meetings and events.
- Access to the members only section on the SCL International website. Members may download all online papers free of charge, while there is a charge for non-members.
- Members only rates at the annual SCL Nigeria conference
Membership Types and Fees
SCL Nigeria offers individual and corporate membership options for both those resident in Nigeria and those resident overseas. Corporate memberships is open to those organisations which are, under the relevant laws of residence or incorporation of the organisation, limited liability companies, limited liability partnerships, partnerships, charities or unincorporated organisations. In addition federal, state and local government departments, agencies and directorates are also eligible for corporate membership.
We are offering an introductory discount on membership for 2018 for all new members registering before 1 March 2018.
The annual subscription fee and initial joining fee for each of the membership options is set out below.

The subscription year for all categories of membership runs from 1 January to 31 December. Your first year's subscription covers the period up to 31 December of the subscription year in which you join the society.
How to join
Please complete a Membership Application Form either online (preferred) or by printing a copy of the downloadable form and returning it by email to email@example.com. See links at the bottom of this page to proceed.
As part of your application, you will need to pay the joining fee and first year's subscription in advance. They will both be refunded in full in the unlikely event that your application is rejected.
